iPhone 8 Plus vs iPhone 7 Plus: Differences Revealed

 If you own an iPhone 7 Plus, or are considering buying one, you might be wondering how the year-old smartphone stacks up to the iPhone 8 Plus. For that reason, we have created a list of new and unchanged features and technical specifications.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are the natural successors to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The devices are largely unchanged, but start at $699 and share many improvements, such as faster A11 Bionic chips and wireless charging.

When the first iPhone came out in 2007, no one had any idea that any of this would happen. Around September 25, 2016, the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus were unveiled. By late 2023, the iPhone 15 series will be in stores and the iPhone 16 series is well on its way to completion.

★Display 

 (iPhone 8 Plus) and (iPhone 8 Plus) is known as Retina HD Displays with a resolution (1920 × 1080) and have a 5.5 LCD show. 1300: 1 contradiction rate, 3D touch, wide colors (P3) support (P3) and all other display technical species with maximum brightness.

The only difference is iPhone 8 plus has a (True Tone) display. It automatically adapts the color and intensity of the display to match the color temperature of light in the surrounding environment.

★Design   

The iPhone 8 Plus comes in glass-backed Silver, Space Gray and New Gold, while the iPhone 7 Plus comes in aluminum-backed Black, Gold, Jet Black, Rose Gold and Silver. IP67/IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. It's a big phone - clocked in at 5.5 inches with large bezels. Proportions work just like on the smaller iPhone 7.

★Processor , Memory And Storage

The iPhone (7 Plus is available with 32GB, 128GB or 256GB),(8 Plus 64GB , 128GB and 256GB)  of storage, 3GB of RAM, 1GB more than the iPhone 7, and a processor (Apple's quad-core A10 Fusion) that has two high-performance and energy-efficient cores.

With the iPhone 8, Apple has increased the power quite dramatically and the new (A11 Bionic) processor is a six-core processor with four high-performance cores and the performance is much faster than the iPhone 7. Apple also has its own GPU, which is 30% faster than its predecessor.

★Camera

Both iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus have two cameras. The main lens is a 12MP model with (f/1.8) aperture, 5x digital zoom, optical image stabilization and auto HDR for portraits, while the second lens offers high sensitivity for creating digital SLR-style blur in Portrait mode. It's important to be good, too, for augmented reality applications. It records at 4K video (30 fps, 1080p 30) or 60 fps, and has slo-mo and time-lapse modes. The front camera is 7-megapixel FaceTime HD with (f/2.2) aperture, retina flash and wide color capture.

The iPhone 8 camera is still better. The new 12MP sensor has 85% more light, faster autofocus, hardware multi-band noise reduction and video capture at (4K 60fps). 240fps slo-mo at 1080p resolution. The second lens also enables new post-shooting features such as Portrait mode and Portrait Lighting mode, which will soon be hitting beta mode as well. Both sensors are new, with (f/1.8) and (f/2.8) apertures.

The iPhone 8's camera is designed specifically for that, and the camera's more energy-efficient sensor means less battery drain during AR apps.

★Battery And Charging

Bigger phones need bigger batteries (iPhone 7 Plus has a huge 2,900 mAh), (iPhone 8 plus 2691 mAh). About a third the size of the iPhone 7's battery. With the iPhone 8 Plus, wireless charging comes to the party. We've never had any issues with battery life, even on fairly demanding days. Some of the early iOS 11 betas clearly needed some work in the power efficiency department.
